At Rested, your best rest is our top priority. We understand that adjusting to a new mattress takes time, and it’s normal to experience an initial adjustment period. To ensure you have a fair opportunity to experience your mattress while maintaining product integrity, we offer a one-time comfort exchange under the guidelines below.


1. Mattress Comfort Exchange Eligibility

If you are not comfortable with your new mattress, you may be eligible for a one-time comfort exchange provided all of the following conditions are met:

  • 30-Night Adjustment Period:
    You must sleep on your mattress for a minimum of 30 nights, beginning on the delivery date, to allow your body time to adjust.

  • Exchange Window:
    Once the 30-night adjustment period is met, you have up to 60 days from the delivery date to complete your comfort exchange.

  • Mattress Protector Requirement:
    A Rested mattress protector must be purchased at the time of mattress purchase and used for the duration of the trial period.

  • RestedIQ Pressure Mapping:
    Customers must complete pressure mapping using our RestedIQ (SleepCast) system prior to exchange eligibility.
    For mattresses purchased online, this requirement is waived.

This comfort exchange is offered as a courtesy to help you find the right comfort fit.


2. Exchange Guidelines

  • No refunds are available on mattress purchases.

  • Comfort exchanges are one-time only.

  • If the replacement mattress is of greater value, the customer is responsible for paying the price difference at the time of exchange.

  • Mattresses must be returned in clean, sanitary condition, free from stains, odors, damage, or abuse.

  • Any mattress that does not meet these conditions will be ineligible for exchange.


3. Exchange Fees & Delivery Costs

The following fees may apply and are non-refundable:

  • Delivery & Mattress Pickup of $150

All applicable fees will be disclosed and must be paid prior to scheduling an exchange.


4. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Adjustable bases and box foundations

  • Mattress toppers and pads

  • Pillows

  • Sheets and bedding accessories

  • Mattress protectors


5. Minimum Purchase Requirement

This comfort exchange policy applies only to mattresses with an original purchase price of $999 or more.


6. Exchange Process

To initiate a comfort exchange:

  1. Contact Rested at mike@restedmattress.com within the eligible exchange window.

  2. Provide proof of purchase, confirmation of mattress protector purchase, and (if applicable) RestedIQ pressure mapping completion.

  3. Follow customer service instructions to schedule mattress pickup and/or delivery of your replacement mattress.

All exchanges are subject to availability and scheduling.


7. Policy Acknowledgment

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Return & Comfort Exchange Policy.
